What is WBCC Teen Ministry All About?
WBCC teen ministry is a gathering of students who talk about REAL issues, hear topics from the Bible in a RELEVANT way, build healthy RELATIONSHIPS with God and others, and are RELEASED to fulfill God’s plan for their lives.
The Teen Ministry of WBCC provides an atmosphere for you to discover a
genuine relationship with God.

and release your gifts and talents.
Why Is WBCC Teen Ministry So Unique?
Relationships are important. This ministry is structured to meet those relational needs. During the week, small groups of teenagers (commonly referred to as “Community Groups”) are gathering in homes through out Hampton Roads. The purpose of each group is to help you grow closer to God and each other. Each group is led by strong and capable adult volunteer leaders. These groups are age specific and are designed for:
- Middle School Students (7th & 8th grade only!)
- High School Students
(9th-12th grade)
How to Connect!
A seminar, known as Fresh Start (now available on-line) is your entry point into a Community Group. This seminar will help you determine where you are in your spiritual journey and how WBCC can help you grow to the next level. In the end, we want to help you connect to a group of your own!
Two Services!
“XZILR8” is the name of the teen service. “XZILR8” means to… lift one’s spirit. We believe worship should be exciting and uplifting. Therefore, this service is designed to reach middle & high school students of South Hampton Roads and beyond. It’s a safe place to bring friends who are exploring Christianity and looking for answers to life’s questions. This service meets in Auditorium Two. We offer two identical services on Sundays at 8:30 am & 10:00 am. Get there early and relax on the sofas, enjoy breakfast at the round tables with friends, or challenge someone to a game of Madden on the Xbox or a game of foosball. Enjoy the “exhilaration” every Sunday!

Envisioning the future!
The Teen Ministry is expanding and more Community Groups are forming. Before long, small pockets of Christian teens will be praying, worshipping, studying, and ministering on almost EVERY night of the week! Can you envision what God wants to do in South Hampton Roads, as teens begin to connect with Him and each other? Better yet, don't you want to be an active participant in all that God is doing?
